The Shape of Things
I am incredibly thankful for the experience that this show gave me. I remember being very surprised to have been cast, because I thought people had a hard time taking me seriously. Oftentimes throughout my life I have been typecasted as a comedic role, an ingenue, or a child, because of my small stature and expressive face. I did do Great God Pan at FSCC which was fantastic, but that was through a class and was on a much smaller scale. The Shape of Things challenged me to be more serious and realistic, with its more mature themes and darker comedy. This show had meat to it, and even helped me come to terms with some things happening in my own personal life. Never have I felt closer to a cast.
