My time at FSCC was my first actual experience with acting. Since I had been homeschooled and began college at age 15, the first few semesters would have been very difficult if I had not discovered theatre under the tutelage of Sarah Mae Lamar. I found my passion in that little town, and it was because of these roles that I decided to further my theatre experience at Pittsburg State University:
